Beijing Olympic Park is located in Chaoyang District of Beijing, situated at the northern end of the city's central axis, north of the Middle Section of the North Fourth Ring Road, with the Qinghe River to the north, the Middle Section of the North Fourth Ring Road to the south, Anli Road and Beichen East Road to the east, and Lincui Road and Beichen West Road to the west. The total area of the Olympic Park is 1135 hectares, divided into three zones. The northern zone is a 680hectare forest park. The central zone (Zone B), covering 291 hectares, is the main area for venue and supporting facilities construction. The southern zone, covering 114 hectares, consists of existing venues and reserved land, including the 50hectare Chinese Ethnic Museum, exhibition halls, sports venues, and the Olympic Village.The venues and facilities include 14 competition venues, an 80hectare Olympic Village with a building area of approximately 470,000 square meters (360,000 square meters for apartments and 110,000 square meters for other facilities), which can accommodate 16,000 athletes, coaches, and their accompanying personnel. The Olympic Village is located near the main competition venues. There is also a 30hectare Press Village with a building area of approximately 400,000 square meters.
